Hi Scott
For the last few years I have been trying to move away from the traditional Norris style planes. I must admit that because I use Norris styles other makers think that it is OK to use my work as a template (rather than the original). I think this is a little bit cheeky as I put a lot of work into enhancing and restyling the original profiles – you can see a direct comparision on my website A13 page.
I really want to move on with new designs and ideas. However, I will be making matching Chariot and Bullnose planes to go with this Thumb plane.
If I am to make anymore traditional based planes they will be one offs only and styles I haven’t produced yet.
Now there’s an appetizing update on the blog Karl , A27 A28 WOW, and an A31 ,i have the jitters .Please a taster for the A27 SOON .Please do not give up on the Norris enhancements you do .

Karl:
Why the last batch?
